The fuel that makes the Michigan Environmental Hall of Fame go is sponsorship. People and organizations like yours who wish to honor those who have made Michigan’s environment a great place to live!

Next year,2021 we are having Dr. Sherri Mason as our speaker. Dr. Mason is renowned for her work on plastics in the Great Lakes.

It costs us a substantial amount of money, rent for the venue, the awards themselves, mailings, speaker expenses, etc. each year and that is where our sponsors come in. Without sponsors, there is no Michigan Environmental Hall of Fame.

We need to continue giving recognition to those individuals who have given environmentally, and with the “Legacy Circle” those who have given but passed away. People like, Vern Ehlers, Margaret Drake Elliot, P.J. Hoffmaster and Genevieve Gillette.

The induction ceremony will be Spring 2021, the event has been cancelled for 2020. Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum in Grand Rapids.
